Release time:2026-04-14Number of views:19

On the afternoon of April 2, 2026, the 117th session of the "Mingde Lecture Hall" hosted by the School of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry was successfully held at the Mingli Academic Lecture Hall. Invited by the School of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Professor Alina Manshina from St. Petersburg State University delivered an academic report titled "Making new matter with laser." Professor Xiaojun Han chaired the report.

In the report, Professor Alina Manshina systematically introduced her research on fabricating high-sensitivity sensors using laser-induced deposition (LID) technology. The presentation focused on three core aspects: first, precise control of nanostructures to optimize the surface morphology and performance of sensors; second, expanding the applicability of substrate materials to improve the compatibility and generalizability of the technology; and third, constructing high-performance surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) and electrochemical sensors, and investigating their synergistic effect in multi-mode detection. Through this systematic elaboration across three dimensions, the report comprehensively demonstrated the research progress and application potential of LID technology in the field of high-sensitivity sensing.

During the interactive session, participating faculty and students actively asked questions and shared their thoughts.Drawing on her profound academic attainments and rigorous scholarly perspective, Professor Alina Manshina gave detailed, insightful responses to each question. The session featured a dynamic and vibrant academic atmosphere, showcasing a high-quality, in-depth exchange between the speaker and the audience.

Exchange Session

This lecture delivered by Professor Alina Manshina was both engaging and inspiring, broadening the academic horizons and research perspectives of attending faculty and students. As a key academic brand developed and promoted by the School of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, "Mingde Lecture Hall" will continue to build high-level exchange platforms, foster a collaborative and innovative academic atmosphere, continuously improve basic research capabilities, and contribute to the sustained development of the discipline as a whole.
