In recent days, the project“Key Technologies for the Preparation of New Fluorosilicic Materials”led by Huang Yudong, the professor of our School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, has passed the argumentation, marking the official launch of the project. This is a National Key Research and Development Program of China.
This project is 47 million 80 thousand yuan in total for 4 years. Led by the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of HIT, the project also associated several scientific research team, which combined production, education and research together, including Zhejiang Juhua Co., Ltd, Juhua Group Technology Center, Zhejiang Transfar Chemicals, Hangzhou Normal University, Zhejiang University, Shaanxi University of Science & Technology and Shandong Institute of Marine Technology. With the development model of the whole chain integrated design according to the combination of basic research and application research, based on the the outstanding achievements of the project team in the research and accumulation of fluorosilicic materials for many years, the project deals against the major scientific problems and working at the key technologies which restricts the development of high performance and high added value fluorosilicic materials in China, aiming to develop an accurate and controllable synthesis method of new functional monomers of fluorosilicone and the large-scale production technology of its modified polymer. This project will contribute to the improvement of the overall competitiveness of China's basic fluorosilicone materials industry and meet the needs of innovation and development of high-end manufacturing and strategic emerging industries, lifting the preparation and application technology of China's fluorosilicon new material system to reach the international advanced level as a whole.
During the argumentation, the expert group listened to the project implementation report made by Professor Huang Yudong, who is the director of the Key Technologies for the Preparation of New Fluorosilicic Materials. The directors of the project’s sub-task also made implementation reports. After the argumentation of the technical route, research progress and node arrangement, research achievement and assessment index, organization management, funds arrangement and so on in the process of project implementation, the expert group fully affirmed the significance, feasibility and operability of this project. They speak highly about the project implementation plan, since it showed an advanced technology road-map, a clear task division and a reasonable arrangement of the research progress and time. After agreed to the implementation, they put forward a constructive guidance on the specific implementation of the follow-up work and the landing and industrialization of the research results.
More than 60 attendees participated in the argumentation, including the expert group of the key basic materials of national key research and development program, the leaders of the high technology center of the Ministry of science and technology, related principals from the School of science and industrial technology of HIT and other responsible institutions and the main members of the project group.
