On November 12, the globally authoritative academic information agency Clarivate officially released the 2025 list of “Highly Cited Researchers.” This list recognizes top scientific talents from universities, research institutions, and commercial organizations worldwide who have made significant and broad impact in their respective fields of research. This year, a total of 6868 scientists from over 1300 institutions across 60 countries and regions were selected. Among these distinguished scholars, 16 scholars from Harbin Institute were recognized. Notably, Professor Zhenbo Wang, Professor Ping Xu, Associate Professor Weiwei Yang, and Professor Yongsheng Yu from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering successfully joined this elite group of global scientists, thanks to their outstanding contributions and global academic impact.

Zhenbo Wang: Tenured Full Professor (Grade II), Doctoral Supervisor, and Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering.
